We are proud to be the UK’s largest charitable funder of exclusively animal-free research. We believe in advancing human health without animal suffering.
Since 1961, we’ve funded scientists to develop innovative alternatives to animal experiments covering a wide range of human diseases, including cancer, Parkinson’s, cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer’s and eye conditions.

Our vision is a world where no animals or animal products are used to research human health. To achieve this, we will keep supporting scientists to introduce and improve replacements for experiments on animals.
Our work is entirely funded by the generosity of people who share our belief that animal welfare is as important an issue as human health.
