“20 years ago, mum might not have survived her brain haemorrhage. That’s why research is so important – because it brings us developments in treatments and helps people to live better after the unthinkable.” Sarah

The Natalie Kate Moss Trust was set up in 2012 by the Moss family following the sudden death of Natalie at the age of 26 after an unexpected brain haemorrhage.

Brain haemorrhages devastate the lives of 4.6m people worldwide every year, with only 60% of those people surviving after one month.

But what if we could change that? What if we could improve outcomes? What if we could prevent brain haemorrhages altogether?

From this tragedy, Natalie’s legacy has grown into our mission. Today, our goal is to find the answers to these questions. To explore how to prevent brain haemorrhages and to be at the vanguard of improving treatment for when one occurs. We do this through our unique partnership with the team at The University of Manchester, who are conducting world-leading research into Haemorrhagic Stroke and through our awareness-raising programmes in schools, companies and public spaces.

The kindness of gifts in Wills to The Natalie Kate Moss Trust enables us to plan for future research and help more people learn about prevention. In short, they help save lives.
