'Grayling is on a learning curve and we can hope that he will see the reality. I have mentioned in previous posts that reducing public contracts to only a few suppliers will increase exposure to what most kindly might be termed "billing errors". It might be that the time is right for Grayling to come to terms with the need to properly audit G4S and Serco - surely if they will not comply he has the tools to legislate and criminalise them? Although he might then struggle to enforce putting them behind bars for contempt I suppose.'
