Personally, I do not hide my light under a bushel when it comes to IT and the internet. However, I fear the ‘justice by algorithm’ path is one that cannot be trodden lightly.

I was searching on the internet a few weeks ago for details of a cemetery in Lancashire, and the (paid-for) dominant, top-of-page so-called algorithmic result from that large online retailer named after a South American river (I believe the said river has yet to take out an injunction, something I believe could well be an opportunity for an entrepreneurial lawyer) returned a message in a similar vein to:
‘Shop for cemeteries on Amazon.co.uk’.

I do not believe I need to elucidate further, but if so the ‘malgorithm’ feature of satirical magazine Private Eye should suffice.
