Two new legal directors have joined BDB Pitmans' private client practice: the real estate team welcomes high-end property expert Lorna du Sautoy, while tax specialist Sophie St John joins the private wealth team.

du Sautoy provides advice to prime and super prime London residential property and other luxury property assets. Her international clientele includes high net worth individuals and their companies, overseas as well as institutional investors, family offices, charities, banks, and trusts.

St John has experience within many aspects of private wealth, and regularly advises UK residents, as well as international, wealthy individuals, their families, and trustees on UK legal and tax issues. Her particular focus is advising internationally mobile individuals and families with a global footprint in connection with the issues they face in the context of cross border tax and estate planning.

BDB Pitmans managing partner Andrew Smith commented: 'The private wealth practice continues to be an important cornerstone of our business. The additions of Lorna and Sophie will further enhance their respective teams by contributing invaluable experience and expertise. Their global client base fits perfectly with our ambitious plans for growth as an outward-facing, internationally-minded, modern law firm.'
