Firm hire: Construction partner joins Fladgate

Fladgate has announced the appointment of construction and engineering expert Olivia Bateman as a partner in the firm’s construction team.

Olivia joins from Squire Patton Boggs, having worked previously for Watson Burton, where she was one of the founding partners of the London office, and Herbert Smith.

She has acted for a range of developers and funders, as well as for contractors, consultants and sub-contractors, and has a wealth of experience in the retail and leisure sectors.

Strategic growth has been a constant factor at Fladgate since 2015. Within this period, the firm has made 34 lateral partner hires. The trend is continuing within the current financial year and Olivia’s joining is a further strategic hire.
