Housing specialist Matthew Waters (pictured above) has joined law firm Devonshires as a partner in the firm’s corporate and governance team.
Waters, who has 17 years’ experience, joins from Bevan Brittan.
He works with organisations across the housing sector including local authorities, registered providers, developers, contractors and funders on commercial, corporate and regulatory matters. He has experience in corporate structuring, joint ventures, group reorganisations, estate regeneration, public and private partnerships for large scale housing and regeneration projects, structuring of development deals and funding.
Waters' advisory work includes supporting local authorities on the Housing Revenue Account (HRA) and wider housing regulatory matters, and registered providers on corporate and governance matters.
