National firm Harper James Solicitors has bolstered its presence in Birmingham and the West Midlands following the recent appointment of partners Adam Kudryl and Simon Gilmour.

Based on Newhall Street, Birmingham, the senior hires follow a sharp increase in demand from new and existing clients, according to founder and CEO Toby Harper.

Just one year on from the appointment of commercial director, Fran Davie, whose previous experience involves advising national law firms on various strategic and restructuring issues, Adam Kudryl and Simon Gilmour have been appointed to the Birmingham office to operate in the Corporate and Employment law teams, respectively.

Bringing with them a wealth of experience specialising in mergers, acquisitions, contentious and non-contentious employment matters Harper James CEO, Toby Harper, commented: 'We are thrilled to have welcomed Adam and Simon to our growing team and have no doubt that they will play a strong role in delivering the remote operating, retainer business model that Harper James is best known for.'

Harper James has grown rapidly since it was founded in 2014, with the team now made up of more than 40 solicitors and support staff.
