Jordans Corporate Law Limited has appointed automotive specialist Helen Wright as a solicitor in the Bristol-based team.

Previously an in-house solicitor at Jaguar Land Rover, Helen specialises in the drafting and negotiating of commercial contracts and will continue to focus on advising the automotive sector in her new role.

She has handled many extremely high-value contracts in a multitude of jurisdictions and developed a legal specialism in competition law – which has resulted in her working alongside a number of the world’s largest automotive companies.

‘We are delighted that Helen has joined us bringing her wealth of automotive industry experience to Jordans Corporate Law,’ said the company’s head of commercial, Simon Bates.

‘This is a highly complex sector because of its unique supply-chain dynamics, and we believe it is currently underserved by the legal industry. Her arrival has already resulted in Jordans Corporate Law being instructed by one of the UK’s leading automotive names.

‘These are exciting times for the company as we look to attract both new clients and new talent who see how we, as an alternative business structure, can provide a different approach to the provision of legal services.’

Helen’s interest in the automotive sector extends to her personal life too – one of her main pursuits is following Formula One.
