HRC Law has announced a trio of appointments to its award-winning employment team. Jo Handler, Siobhan Howard-Palmer and Heena Kapadi join as the firm heads towards its fifth birthday.

An employment specialist, Jo joins the team as an associate having spent 11 years with Eversheds followed by a period at Almond Solicitors.   Jo advises clients across a range of employment matters, with her vast experience complementing the team’s sector-focused approach.

She said: ’HRC Law’s positioning within the market offered a unique and exciting opportunity. I liked its approach: excellent client service, in-depth knowledge and sector expertise. It also has a great approach to flexible working which works well for me and the team generally.’

Also bringing rich experience and a wealth of knowledge, Siobhan joins the firm from an in-house role with a Fortune 500 worldwide supplier to the oil and gas industry. Siobhan trained and qualified at Halliwells, then moved to Clyde and Co, before taking a career break which saw her travel through South and Central America.

Siobhan was also impressed by the firm’s approach: ’I’m looking forward to playing a part in working with clients to grow and enhance their businesses.’

Joining from Slater Heelis where she qualified, Heena joins as a solicitor and will be advising clients on a wide range of employment law matters ranging from TUPE transfers to tribunal claims and director/partnership disputes. She brings with her a range of experience in employment and dispute resolution and is looking forward to engaging in both contentious and non-contentious matters across different sectors.

Commenting on her appointment, Heena said: ’HRC Law has seen impressive growth in recent years and is a firm I have always admired; I look forward to working with some of the industry’s most talented employment specialists.’

Partner Simon Whitehead added: ’Jo, Heena and Siobhan all epitomise HRC Law’s proactive and client-focused approach and I look forward to working with them all.’
