The Leeds office of national law firm Irwin Mitchell has appointed Jenny Arrowsmith to its employment team.

Joining the firm as an associate from Taylor & Emmet in Sheffield where she was a partner, Jenny will be based in Leeds but will initially also spend time in the firm’s Sheffield office supporting the team there.

Jenny has been a specialist employment lawyer for 12 years and advises on the full spectrum of operational and strategic employment law issues.

She has particular experience of dealing with issues relating to discrimination, complex or sensitive disciplinary and grievances, performance management and organisational change including redundancies, changing terms and conditions of employment and TUPE. She has advised employers of all sizes including those operating in the charity, logistics, retail, media, health and care sectors.

Her clients have included Centrica, Hermes, Next and Asda. Jenny conducts her own advocacy in Employment Tribunals and regularly speaks at public events including training seminars or conferences.

She delivers training on employment law issues at all levels from the practical aspects of managing employees to board-level issues which have a strategic relevance.
