Experienced corporate and commercial lawyer, Michal Freeman-Shor, joins Gardner Leader solicitors’ as senior associate.

Michal has eight years corporate law experience and her appointment comes alongside four further new starters at the firm including Nikki Hutchinson as finance manager, Madia Aslam as a post-exchange assistant and Sarah Sharpin as paralegal.

Prior to joining Gardner Leader, Michal worked for a major, international law firm and has experience across many areas of company and commercial law, in particular national and cross border Mergers and Acquisitions and IPOs. She is a dual qualified solicitor (UK and Israel) and speaks three languages (English, Russian and Hebrew), which has proven an asset when dealing with companies that have an international dimension. As a STEP affiliate member, she also has an interest in international private wealth management.

Michal is also an experienced property investor, an ambassador of the Law Society, working on the Back to Law programme, which empowers and mentors returning solicitors, and was a director of not-for-profit organisation Maidenhead Synagogue LTD for many years. Other voluntary roles have included cooking for the homeless and elderly and running a not-for-profit charity shop.

Commenting on her appointment, Michal said: 'My greatest interest is in helping people and companies achieve viable and legally workable commercial success. I enjoy advising companies throughout various stages of their operations and look forward to bringing these skills to Gardner Leader.'
