London law firm Osbornes Law has welcomed associate Katie de Swarte to its wills, probate and disputed estates team.

de Swarte specialises in contentious trusts and probate matters. She has experience in Inheritance Act cases, challenges to the validity and structure of wills and trusts, breach of trust cases and disputes between executors/trustees and beneficiaries.

de Swarte is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and currently a STEP Technician. She has passed the Education Course for the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS) and is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE).

She also undertakes Court of Protection work including statutory will applications and making and contesting deputyship applications.

de Swarte commented: 'I am excited to be joining Osbornes and to be given the opportunity to further my career working alongside Jan and the rest of the team. I am looking forward to meeting everyone via Zoom, the new face to face, very soon!'
