London law firm Osbornes Law has welcomed associate Katie de Swarte to its wills, probate and disputed estates team.

de Swarte is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and currently a STEP Technician. She has passed the Education Course for the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS) and is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE).
She also undertakes Court of Protection work including statutory will applications and making and contesting deputyship applications.
de Swarte commented: 'I am excited to be joining Osbornes and to be given the opportunity to further my career working alongside Jan and the rest of the team. I am looking forward to meeting everyone via Zoom, the new face to face, very soon!'
Head of the private client department Jan Atkinson added: 'I am delighted to welcome Katie. Many of Katie’s cases have an international element and we are all delighted that Katie is joining the team at a senior level as her experience will dovetail neatly with this growing area of practice at Osbornes Law, which has continued to expand during the lockdown period.
'Katie is the first person I have appointed via Zoom and we all look forward to her arrival and meeting her in person!'
de Swarte joins Osbornes Law from Child & Child.
