Andrew & Co Solicitors has appointed Paul Simpson as new head of coporate and commercial following the departure of Helen Bell.
Bell said: ’I am confident that Paul will lead the team to even greater success. He has a lot of experience in the corporate field and I know that our clients will benefit from his extensive knowledge.’
Simpson moves into the role from the position of associate solicitor with the firm. He was previously a director at the Nottingham office of a national law firm and has worked in corporate law for over 15 years.
The 43-year-old has experience in a broad range of corporate matters including management buy-ins and buyouts, acquisitions, disposals, shareholder and joint venture arrangements and partnership agreements.
He has also worked on several high-profile jobs including the sale by Steeper Group of its Bebionic Division to German prosthetics company Otto Bock and the management buyout of the NEC Group.
