RWK Goodman has hired construction disputes specialist Patrick Duggan as a senior associate in its construction and engineering team.
Goodman has a background in quantity surveying and has worked predominantly in commercial litigation since he qualified as a solicitor in 1999.
He supports clients in issues involving the design and construction of commercial and residential developments, civil engineering works, including road, rail, tunnelling and pipeline projects, retail and leisure projects, educational facilities and research laboratories, power generation and transmission projects, mechanical, electrical and water treatment plant, and renewable energy projects, both on and offshore.
Goodman commented: 'Construction & engineering disputes are for me the more interesting side of the law. They allow you to sometimes deal with very technical issues and sometimes to get stuck in and get your hands dirty with the more basic realities of building. RWK Goodman has a leading reputation in this discipline and I am delighted to have joined their team in Bath.'
