Weightmans has appointed social housing expert Matthew Wilson to its growing team in Liverpool. He joins the firm from Clarke Wilmott.
Matthew spent three years in his previous role, which saw him assist in the setting up of a social housing department and lead the disrepair team, managing a team of solicitors through increasing demand from the sector. Ranked by leading legal directory the Legal 500 as a ‘Next Generation Lawyer’, he was admitted as a solicitor in 2006 and has acted exclusively for social landlords throughout his career.
Matthew advises and represents clients across the UK, handling all manner of housing management matters including anti-social behaviour injunctions, claims for possession and disrepair claims, defending many high value matters.
