Taylor Bracewell has announced that specialist wills and probate solicitor, Lauren Smith, has joined its rapidly growing practice.

Joining Taylor Bracewell’s busy private client department, Lauren will head up the wills and probate department in Sheffield and brings with her a wealth of expertise in wills, asset protection, powers of attorney, court of protection and complex probate work.

Lauren will also be dealing with wills that Taylor Bracewell acquired from former Doncaster law firm Atteys; contact her if you wish to discuss one of these wills.

Having practised in firms in South Yorkshire since qualifying, most recently as head of a large wills and probate department in Rotherham, Lauren is well known in the region for her advanced expertise, meticulous attention to detail and impressive specialism in probate work for high-net-worth individuals.

Sheffield-born-and-bred Lauren, 33, qualified as a solicitor in 2006 and has specialised in this field of law ever since. She is a member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners’ (STEP), which assures clients of her expertise as a trust and estate practitioner. STEP is the leading worldwide professional body for practitioners in the fields of trusts, estates and related issues: its members are subject to a rigorous code of professional conduct and are the most experienced and senior practitioners in the field of trusts and estates.

Sharon Beck, Taylor Bracewell’s managing partner, said: ‘We are absolutely delighted that Lauren has joined us. She brings with her a wealth of experience and expertise, which along with her advanced skills and knowledge will bring huge benefits to families and businesses in Sheffield.’
