Alan Kitcher joins as partner – certified chartered accountant from Charles Russell Speechlys.

Leading South East law firm Thomson Snell & Passmore has welcomed Alan Kitcher as partner – certified chartered accountant to its trust management team, bolstering its offering to clients. 

A qualified accountant, Alan joins from Charles Russell Speechlys, where he was head of tTrusts and probate. He brings with him significant experience and expertise in advising wealthy families on all aspects of the management and administration of wealth and asset protection structures, gained from 16 years in the private client industry with both accountancy and law firms. He has particular expertise in looking after high and ultra-high net worth family trusts and family investment companies, also regularly advising on personal tax matters.

Alan will work closely with colleagues from across the firm’s trusts, probate and tax planning departments, to advise clients on a wide range of matters including UK trust and family investment company accounting, administration and taxation, charity accounting and administration, estate accounting and administration and specialist tax planning.

Alan will also support the residential conveyancing and commercial property teams, offering advice on issues such as capital gains tax (CGT) and the annual tax on envelope dwellings (ATED).
