National law firm Clarke Willmott LLP has added three new recruits to its commercial property team. All three will be based in the firm’s Taunton office. The team has expanded in response to growing demand in the marketplace and a return of confidence in the economy.

The office has grown rapidly since 2013 with new appointments bringing the total number of staff to more than 130.

Clare Gregory joins the Taunton commercial property team as an associate from Eversheds LLP, where she spent several years working on a wide range of commercial property matters including acquisitions (including acquisitions of large estates pursuant to compulsory purchase order), disposals, asset management and corporate support work. Clare also has experience of acting on behalf of both national and local clients in respect of strategic acquisition and development projects as well as dealing with general landlord and tenant matters.

Branis Kojic also joins Clarke Willmott as a solicitor in the team. Branis worked at BPE Solicitors in Cheltenham before joining Winterbotham Smith Penley Solicitors in Gloucestershire where she spent over seven years primarily specialising in commercial and residential property work and also completed her legal training whilst studying at the University of Law, London.

Branis’s expertise includes advising in relation to a wide range of commercial property work such as site acquisitions and development for both commercial and residential projects, property asset management and disposals. She acts for developers, investors, retailers and lending institutions.

Kelly Marshall joins Clarke Willmott as a solicitor in the commercial property team following seven years at the Crown Prosecution Service before training with a firm in London. She specialises in a wide range of commercial property work including property sales/acquisitions and development, disposals, landlord and tenant work and portfolio management work. Kelly also works for Registered Provider (RP) clients in the social housing sector, in the charging of properties to funders.

Kelly’s expertise includes working with developers, investors and private companies and individuals, registered providers, local authorities as well as lending institutions.

Roger Seaton, partner and head of Clarke Willmott’s Taunton office, commented: ‘All three recruits bring a wealth of knowledge to the firm, and will further strengthen the resources of the firm’s commercial property team. This is a very exciting time for the office, as we continue to go from strength to strength.’
