Yorkshire-based legal firm LCF Law, has boosted its dedicated healthcare services with the appointment of a specialist team to provide expert legal advice to the dental sector.

Tom Coates joins as a partner, Sarah Buxton as an associate and Matthew Jones as a legal assistant.

The team joins from Cohen Cramer and will now work in LCF Law’s Leeds office providing a wide range of dental related legal services covering associate agreements, dental employment law, practice incorporations, compliance with the Care Quality Commission and the sale and acquisition of dental practices.

Tom said: ‘Sarah and I have spent the last four years working together and Matthew joined us three years ago. As a team we pride ourselves on offering the dental industry an excellent standard of service whilst making the process as simple and straightforward as possible, despite the legal complexities that surround the sector.

‘LCF Law shares the same philosophy, which makes this an ideal career move at a time when the dental market is growing rapidly and new legislation, specific to the dental industry, is continually being introduced.’

Simon Stell, managing partner at LCF Law, said: ‘We already have a solid reputation in the healthcare sector, working with several GP practices and pharmacists, and having Tom, Sarah and Matthew on board will enable us to continue building on this as we expand into the dental market, which requires its own very unique and specialist advice.

‘Each member of the team brings a wealth of experience to their new positions and have strong track records in guiding dental practices and their personnel through all types of challenges and situations so there’s no doubt they will be a valuable addition to LCF Law.’
