Mark Abbott

National law firm Reeds Solicitors LLP has promoted criminal lawyer Mark Abbott to partner.

Abbott joined Reeds in 2016 as a solicitor and Crown Court litigator. He moved from Blaser and Mills LLP where he was partner and head of the crime practice.

Abbott was selected to represent a number of those arrested under Operation Elveden and Operation Weeting. He represented a defendant in the country’s first double-jeopardy re-trial for murder, and has also represented suspects accused of terrorism offences.
