Business crime and litigation firm Rahman Ravelli has appointed Niall Hearty as partner.

Hearty, who was a legal director at the firm before being made partner, has experience in cases involving bribery and corruption, fraud, money laundering, proceeds of crime and serious and general crime.

He also handles investigations involving agencies such as the Financial Conduct Authority, National Crime Agency and Serious Fraud Office.

Rahman Ravelli founder Aziz Rahman said that Hearty’s experience of white-collar crime, his global investigations expertise and his ability to manage the most complex cases made his promotion to partner a logical decision.

He added: 'As a firm that is known for high-stakes, high-profile cases, Niall has helped ensure we continue to be the logical choice for corporates, very senior business figures and high net worth individuals. Making him a partner seems a timely move at a time when Rahman Ravelli is further expanding its workload and once again raising its international profile.'
