Commercial litigation lawyers David Martin and Ceri Bater have joined Carbon Law as partners.

David (pictured, second left) trained and qualified with Capital Law in 2004 prior to joining Eversheds in 2008. He has extensive financial service sector expertise and has advised high street banks, niche lenders and financial networks. 

He also advises on property-related disputes, asset tracing, debt recoveries, contractual and security-related disputes as well as negligence and fraud-related claims.

Ceri (pictured, right) was with Eversheds for 12 years having qualified with Rickerbys LLP in Cheltenham in 2002. She specialises in insurance, financial services and professional negligence and was responsible for a team of solicitors who recovered damages in excess of £4,000,000 on behalf of three major financial institutions. She also advises on employment issues such as data protection, unfair dismissal, breach of contract and redundancy.

Carbon Law Partners was founded by Michael Burne and Owain Saunders Jones in April 2013. The firm now has six partners specialising in commercial, property and private client law.
