DWF is strengthening its corporate capability in the City with the recruitment of corporate partner Richard Tall and his team of two solicitors who all join DWF’s London office in February 2014 from TLT.

Richard is an experienced corporate lawyer with in-depth expertise in the financial services sector. Acting for bidders, targets and financial advisers including major listed companies, Richard’s experience includes schemes of arrangement and rule 9 dispensations under the Takeover Code as well as securities offers from unlisted bond issues to the official list. 

Richard brings with him solicitors Joe Cobley and Caroline Urban.

The hires come as DWF has signalled its intention to invest heavily in growing its London offering and in developing its financial services sector expertise.

DWF’s 80-strong corporate team has seen a 140% year-on-year increase in deal volumes across the UK with particular growth in the financial services, real estate and TMT sectors. DWF is currently ranked fourth most deal-active law firm in the UK by independent analysts Experian Corpfin.
