As I sit here having read your headlines in the Gazette regarding Lord Carter and his 'review' of legal aid, imagine my surprise to read a letter in my post from the Legal Services Commission inviting me to a seminar/training event for the new criminal means test that is being implemented on 2 October.
The name of the seminar is 'Fair justice at a fair price'. Am I dreaming? And I am expected to pay £50 to attend.
