Law Society president Nicholas Fluck officially opened a free legal advice clinic staffed by students at the University of Huddersfield, of which he is an alumnus. The clinic is based in a shopping centre.

Fluck said: ‘The opening of the pro bono clinic to support the entire community is a fantastic example of making justice accessible. There is no finer example of this legal principle than making legal advice so available that one can simply walk in and obtain it. But no matter how excellent such an initiative is, it cannot replace legal aid.’
