An open and shut case

Partnership and employment expert Ronnie Fox is, by common consent, one of the nicest and sharpest solicitors in the City.

But Obiter has discovered his fatal flaw.

So busy is the great man that he does struggle now and again when it comes to keeping his eyes open.

He has even taken to employing a device much used by long-distance lorry drivers which emits a loud buzz in his ear when his head dips beneath the horizontal.

But he had clearly left it at home when on the panel of a session on practice in the 21st century.

Either that or the supremely confident Mr Fox believes he can cope with the many challenges ahead with his eyes closed.
