In our article entitled 'Top firms under fire over mining claims' (see [2006] Gazette, 6 April, 1), we incorrectly stated that six partners in Raleys had been referred to the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal for possible professional misconduct. In fact the referral, made at Raleys' request, relates to an order made by the Law Society, which the firm disputes. We accept that there has been no suggestion of any professional misconduct by any partner of Raleys. We apologise for this error.
