Applications for membership from LPC provider representatives

The Law Society and the Bar Council have agreed in principle to the formation of the joint academic stage committee.

It is anticipated that the committee will comprise officers of both the Law Society and the Bar Council and representatives from the qualifying law degree providers, the common professional examination providers, the legal practice course providers and the Bar vocational course providers.

The appointments are likely to be unpaid, although reasonable travelling and other expenses will be paid.
