Appointment of chief assessor for the family mediation panel

The Law Society announces the appointment of Robin ap Cynan of Lupus Mediation, Wolverhampton to the post of chief assessor to the family mediation panel.

Mr ap Cynan will take a leading role in the selection and training of the panel assessors, who mark applications against the Law Society's standards, and he will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of the assessment processes for initial accreditation and re-accreditation.

The chief assessor will also assist the Society with the development of the panel and implementation of the additional routes to practitioner membership.

The Law Society would be pleased to hear from experienced family mediators who are practitioner members, or qualify for practitioner membership of, the panel and would be interested in becoming an assessor for this panel.
