Beachcrofts on the Hunt

City-based Beachcroft Wansbroughs has the unique distinction of now having on its books what we can only describe as a job lot of Lord Hunts.

The former Tory cabinet minister, Lord (David) Hunt of Wirral, returned to the firm after his spell near the top of the political tree some years back and took over as senior partner.

But now the firm has also brought in Labour peer Lord (Philip) Hunt of Kings Heath, a former health minister, as an adviser to its health and social care division.

The exciting news for Beachcrofts is that there are more Lord Hunts to collect - Labour's Lord Hunt of Chesterton, who has an academic background in environment work, and Lord Hunt of Tamworth, a one-time cabinet secretary and cross-bencher.
