I am always surprised that more women do not set up their own firms.

In fact, I would suggest that women have unique abilities that enable them to run their own practices - and this would also give them the flexibility to create their own lifestyles.

Most women who run households and children have excellent organisational abilities, good budgeting and cash-flow experience, manipulative skills which any business person needs, and excellent networking skills.

They are also adaptable and able to multi-task.

I set up my own practice and know many other women, not only in the Surrey area but all over the country, who have done the same.

Most of them would never want to work in an employed situation again and thoroughly enjoy the freedom that their own firm gives them to organise the family and work.
