Bolly good fun

There was a time when 'Bolly' meant one thing and one thing only to lawyers - the stuff you quaffed in the City after a hard day's work.

But north-west firm Davies Wallis Foyster has changed this by holding 'Bollywood Dreams' parties in its Liverpool (top) and Manchester (below) offices to celebrate the Indian film culture and in the process raise 2,820 for Cancer Research UK, the Matthew Warnes Burns Appeal, and the Anthony Nolan Trust.

But Obiter was glad not to be there - it's bad enough watching some lawyers dance at the Christmas party, so the thought of them trying to jig along to a bhangra soundtrack fills us with dread.
