The Law Society this week launched a marketing campaign to highlight the support it offers solicitors, including adverts on the London Underground and stands at 14 law firms.

From next week, solicitors commuting through Farringdon, Liverpool Street and Temple stations will be targeted with adverts illustrating 101 ways in which the Society's offers support and services.

As part of a face-to-face initiative, the law-firm stands - in ten top City firms, two in Manchester and one each in Liverpool and Leeds - have a potential reach of 16,000 solicitors and will be supplemented by direct mail.

Law Society chief executive Des Hudson said: 'Solicitors have told us that they want an efficient and effective national body that represents their needs. We are working to become an organisation that is increasingly relevant to its members, contemporary, value for money, responsive and showing real leadership through a period of immense change. This advertising is a means of showing our members that we're here to help, protect and promote them.'
