Catwalk queens crown Shoosmiths' charity bonanza South of England firm Shoosmiths is working hard to associate itself with style and glamour.

As well as sponsoring men's magazine FHM's retailer of the year award, the firm made its own contribution to sartorial excellence by linking up with the House of Fraser recently to host the first ever charity fashion show in Milton Keynes.

Exclusive designer brands such as Jaeger, Mochino, Fenn Wright Manson and Ted Baker displayed this season's 'must haves' to an audience of 300 professionals, with around 8,000 raised.

So what is Shoosmiths' own dress code, and will the lawyers be able to take advantage of the classy clothing on display left? Most people in the firm wear suits, a spokeswoman admitted, with dress-down on Friday, but the code in the more trendy Milton Keynes office is 'open-neck collar', which probably explains why they were so keen on the event in the first place.
