I and my colleagues have just received our new practising certificates for the current year. None of us like it. The certificate looks cheap and unimpressive compared to the ones I have held for many years and to certificates issued by other professional bodies.


I am also concerned that it could be very easy to forge as it contains no distinguishing features or logos, especially in these days of modern scanners and coloured printers.



I hope that by next year, the Solicitors Regulation Authority can produce something better.
