Child's play
This photo from City firm Denton Wilde Sapte lends itself to all sorts of possible captions, such as: staff shocked as Dentons ditches cash for bonuses in kind; 'when I said I wanted a country house, I meant something a bit bigger than this'; lawyers improvise ways to spend their time as commercial slowdown bites; and Dentons starts young conveyancers off easily.
Actually, the firm acted for US toy companies Fisher-Price and Mattel in settling a copyright and trade mark case against RSW Group, a company it accused of dealing in infringing dolls houses in the Fisher-Price 'Sweet Streets' range.
The case was settled by consent order with undertakings by RSW Group not to deal further in the articles, although it did not accept they were infringements.
Pictured are (from left) senior solicitor Simon Bennett, solicitor Emma Armitage and partner Clive Thorne.
Manchester firm Kuit Steinart Levy acted for RSW; Hill Dickinson was supervising firm in the raid in which the goods were seized.
