Three City law firms are among an elite group of businesses recognised for community programmes that have delivered a positive impact.
Allen & Overy, DLA Piper and Herbert Smith join 21 well-known companies in receiving a 'Big Tick' in Business in the Community's (BITC) Jubilee award category, a special award this year marking 25 years of the organisation. Allen & Overy was cited for its pro bono and community affairs programme, DLA Piper for its partnership with the Prince's Trust, and Herbert Smith for its community investment programme.
A BITC spokesman said the category recognised those that have 'engaged seriously in responsible business practices' and can show their policies are making a difference.
