Companies House - Christmas and New Year opening schedule 2002/2003

Listed below are the opening times and service arrangements for the Christmas and New Year holidays:

24 December 2002: The information centres will be open for business but will close at the earlier time of 3pm.

Therefore, requests for certified copies will have a cut-off point of 11am and same-day incorporations and other registrations will have a cut-off point of 10am.

Information centre microfiche ordering cut-off point will be 1pm.

25, 26 and 27 December 2002: All offices closed.

31 December 2002: The information centres will be open for business but will close at the earlier time of 3pm.

Therefore, requests for certified copies will have a cut-off point of 11am and same-day incorporations and other registrations will have a cut-off point of 10am.

Information centre microfiche ordering cut-off point will be 1pm.

1 January 2003: All offices closed.

2 January 2003: Edinburgh office will be closed (England and Wales offices open as normal).

Offices will return to a normal service from3 January 2003.

Document deliveryOnly the Cardiff office will be manned for the receipt of documents for the entire holiday period.

Letterbox facilities exist at the other offices with the exception of Birmingham.

Accounts have to be delivered to Companies House on the due date.

Delays or losses in transit will not be accepted as excuses for late delivery and even if accounts are delivered a day late a penalty will be levied.

Incorporation and changes of nameAll applications that are received by our new companies department will be processed as normal but we would advise customers that we cannot be held accountable for any delays in receiving applications owing to the delivery of holiday post.
