LexisNexis Visualfiles has been picked by the Law Society's Consumer Complaints Service (CCS) to provide its complaint management system. The decision follows a six-month trial as well as positive feedback from use by the Law Society of Scotland. Judith Hetherington Smith, head of IT for the Society, said the system will plug the CCS into the 21st century: 'At a future stage, we expect to implement the Web portal capability of Visualfiles to allow consumers to view complaints status via the Internet,' she said.
