Crash course
The spectre of terrorism is highly evident at the IBA conference, whether it be sessions highlighting the work of the association's international terrorism task force or the unprecedented security facing delegates entering the conference centre.
So it is with something approaching poor judgement that one of the first sessions for delegates was 'Triple tragedy in the port of Durban'.
Organised by the maritime and transport law committee, this promised to start 'with a computer simulation showing an aircraft which crashes in the port area of Durban into a passenger vessel and a cargo vessel'.
