Most combative deal: London firm Howard Kennedy acted for Sport Entertainment & Media Group on its acquisition of Cloudmanor, which represents the boxing business interests of former world champion Lennox Lewis.

Clintons acted for Cloudmanor, which has yet to be valued ahead of the group's Alternative Investment Market flotation.Most mobile deal: The Guildford office of Laytons acted for Samsung on its distribution agreement for its mobile phone handsets with Orange, advised in-house.Tastiest deal: City firm Druces & Attlee acted for Henderson Global Investors in its 17 million sale of 20/21 Leicester Square in London - home to Chiquitos Restaurant and the Zoo Bar - to Soho Estates, advised by Amhurst Brown Colombotti.Most prolific deal-makers: It's been a busy time for Australian financial services company AMP and its various outside firms.
It used Lovells on its record-breaking two million pound sponsorship of Surrey Cricket Club's Oval ground, advised by Wedlake Bell; it used Freshfields on the 76 million recommended offer for UK independent financial adviser Towry Law, advised by Norton Rose; and it used Eversheds for the 52 million takeover of Interactive Investor International, advised by Herbert Smith.Most secure deal: Clifford Chance advised Helical Bar on the forward sale of its development at 3 Bunhill Row - let to fellow City giant Linklaters - to a limited partnership formed by Matrix Securities, represented by SJ Berwin.
