Most official deal: Manchester firm Myers Lister Price advised independent bookmaker Betfred on its multi-million pound appointment as the official bookmaker and official betting supplier for the new national football stadium at Wembley until 2010. City firm Bird & Bird advised Wembley national stadium.

Steeliest deal: The London office of US firm Faegre & Benson acted for International Molybdenum on its admission to the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) and an associated £6 million placing. Molybdenum is mainly used as an alloy agent by the steel industry and the company holds several licences for projects in Greenland. City firm Memery Crystal acted for Matrix Corporate Finance, the nominated adviser, and Arbuthnot Securities, the company's broker.


Most chilled deal: The London office of Pinsent Masons acted for IRRfc and management shareholders on the sale of The Seafood Company to Canada-based Fishery Products International (FPI) for £18.3 million. The Seafood Company is a leading UK importer of high-quality chilled and frozen shellfish products. Canadian firm Torys and the London office of US firm Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr advised FPI.


Most refreshing deal: City firm Kemp Little advised mobile technology provider Refresh Mobile on its first round of funding. It also advised the company on a deal with ITV for its Mobizines service, which will update mobile telephone users on a twice-daily basis with the news, weather and entertainment as well as provide a daily TV guide. ITV was advised by its in-house team.


Most connected deal: London firm Campbell Hooper acted for Nortek (UK) on its acquisition of Imerge for £3.2 million. Imerge, which was advised by the Cambridge office of Taylor Wessing, develops Internet connected hard disk based audio products and media appliances.


Most winning deal: Reading firm Pitmans advised Teather & Greenwood as nominated adviser and broker on a secondary placing for AIM-listed Felix Group that raised £4 million from institutional investors. Felix Group is behind Everyone's A Winner, a new sales promotion game. Manchester firm Pannone & Partners advised Felix Group.
