Most leisurely deal: Bexley Council's in-house legal team advised on the first multi-site public private partnership leisure deal in the UK.

Three leisure centres will be designed and serviced by Boxwood Leisure, advised by Bevan Ashford.

DLA represented Barclays, which provided project finance.

The builder, Gleeson Construction, was advised by Wragge & Co and the funder, Sport England, by Collyer-Bristow.

Bluest deal: The Basingstoke office of Penningtons advised Sunstar Leisure on its reverse takeover of Indigo Holidays, advised by City Law Partnership, which also acted for the major shareholder, Associated Newspapers.

Clifford Chance advised Indigo shareholder Channel 5, and Lovells for the company's bank, Bank of Scotland.

Most restful deal: The Simkins Partnership in London acted for Mzuk, which owns exclusive rights to advertising space in the concourse and restroom areas of many Premiership and Football League club grounds, on a 2.4 million investment by Pi Capital, a private investors club, and Genesis Investments, both advised by City firm Kemp Little.

Best recycled deal: City firm Howard Kennedy acted for ECT Recycling - the UK's largest provider of recycling services for households - on its acquisition of various businesses, including local council recycling contracts, of Avon Friends of the Earth Group, advised by Bristol firm TLT.

The group recently went into administration.

Most redeveloped deal: City firm Lovells acted for Ballymore Properties on two major redevelopment schemes in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets' Millennium Quarter, the first agreements granted under the council's Millennium Quarter masterplan.

Yorkshire firm Rollits advised the council.

Most powerful deal: City firm Denton Wilde Sapte acted for Deloitte & Touche, as receiver of Powerhouse Retail, on the sale of its electrical retail business to the Pacific Retail Group of New Zealand, advised by Norton Rose.

Most contained deal: Milton Keynes firm Kimbells acted for the management of container shipping company Seawheel Holdings on its buyout of the company from European ports and logistics operator Simon Group, which was advised by Herbert Smith.
