City firm Simmons & Simmons advised the nominated adviser and broker, Evolution Securities.
Most stylish deal: Manchester firm Heatons advised investment house Arev on its £3 million cash injection into couture business Hardy Amies in exchange for a 49.9% stake. London firm Dawsons advised Hardy Amies.
Most environmental deal: London firm Sharpe Pritchard and an in-house legal team advised Nottinghamshire County Council on the first private finance initiative project to be closed under new guidance from the Treasury and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. The project involves the construction of major infrastructure across the county, including 17 household waste recycling centres. National firm Pinsent Masons advised the contractor, Veolia Environmental Services.
Most capacious deal: The Stockport office of Gorvins advised entrepreneur Bernhard Schreiber on the sale of his storage buildings business Store More to Kandel & Jacobs for a seven-figure sum. Store More imports flat-packed steel garden sheds, timber sheds, log chalets and the like from around the world, supplying retailers such as GUS and Littlewoods. Chorlton firm Robin Burman & Co advised the purchaser.
Most networked deal: City firm Charles Russell advised mobile network provider Monaco Telecom on its agreement with OnAir to provide the ground infrastructure which will allow air passengers to use mobile phones and personal electronic devices such as Blackberrys in-flight. The service will be launched on selected European flights from next year. OnAir was advised by senior in-house counsel at its parent company SITA.
Most approved deal: National firm Hammonds advised Financial Payment Systems, developer of an electronic payment approval system for the Jiangsu province in China, on its admission to AIM and an associated £5 million placing. City firm Bird & Bird acted for the nominated adviser Daniel Stewart & Co.
