Rosiest deal: Birmingham and London firm Wragge & Co advised Rosemound Developments on a deal to develop a £25 million, 22,000-seat stadium for Luton Town Football Club near the M1 motorway. London firm Mishcon de Reya advised the club.



Most towering deal: City firm Davies Arnold Cooper advised Pinnacle on the purchase of the proposed 60-storey Bishopsgate Tower - which, if built, would be the tallest building in the Square Mile - from Union Investment Real Estate for an undisclosed sum. Magic circle firm Linklaters advised the seller.



Starriest deal: City firm Taylor Wessing acted for European Hotels Corporation on a $65 million (£34 million) joint venture agreement with Kingdom Hotel Investments to develop a five-star hotel at Da Nang in Vietnam. Global firm Baker & McKenzie and US firm Hogan & Hartson advised Kingdom Hotel Investments.



Healthiest deal: London firm Wallace advised Genova Diagnostics on its acquisition of Individual Wellbeing Diagnostic Laboratories (IWDL), the laboratory testing company, for an undisclosed sum. London firm Howard Kennedy acted for the shareholders of IWDL.



Sportiest deal: The sports law team at north-west firm Brabners Chaffe Street advised Liverpool Football Club on the transfer of Argentine midfielder Javier Mascherano from rival Premier League side West Ham. London firm Teacher Stern Selby acted for the investment companies that held the financial benefits of the player's transfer rights.



Most luxurious deal: North-west firm DWF acted for hotelier Simon Matthews-Williams on the £6.4 million acquisition of the Hoole Hall hotel in Cheshire from Corus Hotels. The plan following the acquisition is to turn the hotel into a luxury country club and spa. Newcastle firm Dickinson Dees advised the venture capital trust investors, while City firm CMS Cameron McKenna acted for the vendor, Rhian Horwill.
