In your interview with Lord Carter, he says: 'The review will save £100 million a year. That means it has only cost 0.15% of what it will save, for something so important'. In the previous paragraph, we are told the review cost £1.5 million. If this is how Lord Carter does his arithmetic, we have every reason to distrust his competence to reform legal aid.
