Dynamos get shirty in pitch battle
The Dome was not a complete waste, Obiter can finally report.
This giant table football game was rescued from it and put to use for a London Evening Standard charity event, in which City firm Dechert competed.
Getting into the spirit, the 11-strong team of corporate lawyers (on the left) had Dynamo Dechert shirts with their names emblazoned on the back, but failed to show the same co-ordination on the pitch, where they were knocked out by Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein.
Or in the words of the firm's innuendo-filled press release, they were beaten 'by immensely stiff competition from the rapid-wristed' bankers.
