Feathered friend
Many solicitors are running the London Marathon next month and unfortunately we are not able to give them all coverage in their search for sponsorship.
However, Rachael Marshall, a solicitor working at the Crown Prosecution Service in Bristol, wins an honourable exception by planning to run it, as you can guess from the picture, as a chicken.
She tells Obiter that she is fairly new to running (but, we feel, not necessarily to dressing up like farmyard animals) and hopes to finish the marathon in about five hours - 'on my beak and wings, if necessary'.
She will be raising money for Changingfaces, which supports adults and children living with disfigurement.
