Firm aids e-business

Leeds-based law firm Lupton Fawcett has set up an interactive Web site for its commercial clients which is aimed at helping them evaluate how successful their on-line business is and identify where they could do better.

The firm launched the site (www.

confident-customers.com) with

e-commerce specialists Ecomextra after it realised that e-business was rapidly becoming a major source of activity for clients.

Users are invited to complete three questionnaires assessing their communications both on-line and in the workplace and their e-sales techniques.

They then receive an analysis of their responses along with a benchmark report showing how they compare with other businesses.

They can also access guidance on issues ranging from the legalities of on-line transactions to employee e-mail activity and Internet use.
